NEED HELP LOOKING FOR A JOB?

You’re getting unemployment benefits and still haven’t found a job through the Israeli Employment Service?  You’re working in a job that doesn’t match your abilities? You were fired and need guidance and assistance?

The job search process is complex and requires time, initiative, confidence, experience and know-how. People who have been unemployed for a long time, or are facing problems at their current workplace, can often lose confidence in their abilities. Different professional issues can arise and we find it difficult to make progress towards achieving our goal.

Ta’asuKav, the employment helpline run by Be-Atzmi, assists unemployed persons and job seekers in their efforts to secure a position that suits their skills and aspirations.

Our volunteers will be glad to help you too, free of charge, while you look for a job.

People who contact Ta’asuKav receive assistance over the phone, usually lasting a few weeks, from a team of volunteer coaches who have received special and extensive training for that purpose.

Our employment coaches can assist with the following:

  • Provide support throughout the job search process
  • Help you define your professional needs and aspirations
  • Assess your skills, abilities and relative advantages
  • Help you cope with difficulties and barriers that make finding a job a more daunting task
  • Give you tips about how write a resume and prepare you for interviews
  • Provide employment-related information and refer you to additional agencies that offer guidance and assistance
  • Refer you to Be-Atzmi’s employment programs – if there is interest and need and the programs are relevant to your job search

Call Ta’asuKav, our nationwide helpline for unemployed persons and job seekers, at *2119 or email to: tkav@be-atzmi.org.il

You can leave a message 24/7 and someone on the Ta’asuKav team will get back to you within a few days.

Ta’asuKav is a guidance helpline for job seekers, and is not a placement service or agency where available positions are posted.

More information and suggestions for job seekers can be found on our Hebrew website.
