Giora Offer is Partner and Chairman of the Lahav Fund. He served as the CEO of the Discount Group for ten years between 2001 and 2010, and also as Chairman of Cal Israel Credit Cards Ltd. and Chairman of IDB Swiss Bank. Prior to that, Offer was a member of Bank Leumi’s management and headed the Commercial Banking Division. He has 30 years of experience in banking and is closely familiar with companies in different industries.
One of the most prominent corporate executives in Israel’s economy, Offer’s commitment to strengthening Israeli society and advancing equality and social justice is what led him to serve as Be-Atzmi’s Chairman.
He has a B.A. in Economics and a M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Management from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
